CAREPortal gives providers the ability to submit prior-authorization requests for high-tech radiology procedures (MRI, MRA, CT, CTA, PET, PET/CT and Nuclear Cardiology) electronically over the internet.

Attention Clear Coverage Users:
We are aware the Clear Coverage Prior Authorization system has been experiencing connection issues, which may result in a failed login in message, slowness, or failure to provide results when performing a search function. If other issues are encountered, please contact the Clear Coverage Help Desk for assistance at 1-877-606-5172 or via email at ClearCoverageHelpDesk@chnct.org. Providers may also fax requests for authorizations directly to Community Health Network using fax number203-265-3994 or by calling 1-800-440-5071 and following the prompts. Clear Coverage gives providers the ability to submit prior authorization requests for urgent and emergent inpatient admissions, select durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies, therapy services and home health visits. Through this secure portal, you have the ability to request authorizations, submit clinical information and track requests.
Attention OB Providers
Did you know that you can complete an OB notification form online? This simple form informs the HUSKY Health Program that a member is pregnant. Completing this form connects patients with community support, care coordination and health coaching. It is also a required component of the upcoming OB Pay for Performance.
